This notice describes data used by the Tastio marketing and setup website.

Account setup

Business name, email, and phone are submitted to TastioServiceV2 when you request an account. Email verification and account approval use Tastio’s existing backend. Passwords and verification codes are never stored in your website draft.

Website session and preferences

Firebase can authenticate a private website session and save limited onboarding preferences, such as business type and current step. These preferences belong to your session and are separate from your operational POS account.

Hardware assessment

The hardware check gathers browser and device diagnostics and detects peripherals your browser is authorized to access. USB and Bluetooth device selection requires your action. You can review and send your report to Tastio to help assess compatibility. Browser restrictions can limit what is detected.

Contact messages

When you send a message through our built-in form, your name, email, business type, and message are delivered to admin@tastio.com so our team can respond.

Optional analytics

With your permission, Google Analytics measures page visits to help improve this website. Form details, email addresses, passwords, verification codes, and URL query parameters are excluded from tracking. You can change your choice using Analytics preferences at the bottom of the page. Declining analytics does not affect setup or hardware checks.
